CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Special Health Camps are being organized by the Health Department, District Bhopal, for residents of various rain shelters in the city. These camps will run until June 1. Keeping in mind the convenience of the people taking shelter in rain shelters, the camps are scheduled to start at 8:00 PM. The camps will offer screenings for communicable diseases, skin disease screenings, and facilities for obtaining Ayushman cards and Aadhaar IDs. Additionally, arrangements have been made in these camps for the examination and counseling of mental health issues.

Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, stated that camps are being organized in 11 different rain shelters in Bhopal, where health check-ups and other related services will be provided. These camps, coordinated by the district administration and the municipal corporation, will also receive support from the Department of Social Justice, Food and Civil Supplies Department, and the Department of Women and Child Development.

Previously, health camps were organized by the Health Department at labor camps starting from 7:00 AM. Over 25,000 laborers benefited from these camps. Additionally, more than a thousand Ayushman cards and over two thousand Aadhaar IDs were issued. The camps will be held in rain shelters such as ISBT, near Halalpur Bus Stand, Cancer Hospital premises, near Hamidia Hospital, Shahjahan Park, Nehru Nagar, near DIG Bungalow Municipal Office, TB Hospital Eidgah Hills, Railway Station Platform No. 6, Transport Nagar Kokta, and MP Nagar Zone 2.”
