CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: Under the guidance of Railway Women’s Welfare Organization Bhopal president Anita Tyagi and the direction of Chief Medical Superintendent, Bhopal, Ajay Dogra, the medical department of the Bhopal division organized a health check-up camp for children of railway officers at the summer camp held at Narmada Club, Habibganj.

A total of 23 children underwent health check-ups at the camp. During the programme, specialist doctors conducted eye, dental and other general health examinations. Children were also informed about the importance of a clean and balanced diet, regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle.

An ophthalmologist, a dental specialist, members of the Railway Women’s Welfare Organization, assistant nursing officers and paramedical staff were present during the programme. All said such camps are useful for improving children’s health and awareness.

The division has been regularly organizing health awareness and public welfare activities from time to time, continually reinforcing its commitment to the health and well-being of members of the railway family.
