In the busy Roshanpura area of Bhopal, intern doctors and field health workers held placards to spread messages on road safety and health awareness.
In India, January is observed as Road Safety Awareness Month with the primary goal of reducing road accidents and educating people on the importance of road safety.
Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, Dr. Prabhakar Tiwari, stated that millions of people lose their lives in road accidents every year in India. He emphasized that these deaths can be prevented with simple precautions. Keeping this in mind, the Health Department has joined the campaign. All departmental officers and employees have been instructed to be aware of road safety rules and follow them strictly.
