CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A meeting of the Health, Women, and Child Development Standing Committee was organized in the District Panchayat Conference Hall in Bhopal. The meeting, chaired by Director Chandresh Rajput, included committee members as well as officials from the Health Department, Women and Child Development Department, Public Health Engineering Department, and the Jal Jeevan Mission. During the meeting, information about the “Vikalp” program under the Family Welfare Program was shared. On this occasion, employees who made significant contributions to the Family Welfare Program were honored by the chairperson and committee members.

In the meeting, Committee Chairperson Chandresh Rajput emphasized that the maintenance and operation of all Anganwadis should be ensured according to the protocol. The committee members will visit the Anganwadis to review the arrangements.

It was also informed in the meeting that Bhopal district has received the first prize for Health Professional Registration. An online appointment facility for OPD is also being provided. The “Kangaroo Mother Care” service is being launched for the better care of newborns admitted to hospitals. The names and phone numbers of responsible officers for SNCU and Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers were shared with the committee members to ensure immediate services when needed.

Prabhakar Tiwari, Secretary to the Committee and Chief Medical and Health Officer, briefed the chairperson and members on various programs such as the National Child Health Program, Maternal Health, Mukhyamantri Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Family Welfare Program, Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya, Leprosy, and TB eradication programs. He urged the committee members to encourage the public to avail themselves of the benefits of these programs.

The Women and Child Development Department provided updates on nutritional food distribution, the Prime Minister’s Maternity Scheme, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Ladli Bahna Yojana, and the operation status of Anganwadis. The Public Health Engineering Department was instructed to provide a detailed project report and information about villages under the tap water scheme.

Several employees were honored for their outstanding work in the Family Welfare Program, including ASHA workers Rekha Mehra, Anita Lodhi, Semlesh Dangi, Saroj Tomar, Durga Raikwar, Radha Shakya, Meena Malviya, Nursing Officers Kirti Semre, Sunita Barele, Mamta Solanki, Community Health Officers Preeti Rawande, Deepika Padlak, Ekta Patel, ANMs Durgesh Pateria, Sarita Ahirwar, and Sarita Shukla.
