CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the memorial service organized at the Late Sheetla Sahay Auditorium in the Cancer Hospital campus of Gwalior city, a heartfelt tribute was paid to the late Prabhat Jha, former State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former Member of Parliament, on his passing. The event was attended by Arun Jain, All India Co-Promoter Chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, BJP State President and MP Vishnudutt Sharma, Organization General Secretary Hitanand Ji, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Narendra Singh Tomar, senior leaders Captain Singh Solanki, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, Minister Prahlad Patel, along with other senior leaders, state government ministers, and party officials.

During the memorial service, MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha read the condolence message from BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda. The speakers at the service remarked that the passing of Prabhat Jha has not only affected his family but also numerous other families who were connected to him. They remembered him fondly and prayed for his eternal peace.

Arun Jain, All India Co-Promoter Chief of RSS, addressed the memorial service, stating that Prabhat Jha was very close to everyone and shared a friendly relationship with all. He had a powerful pen in the field of journalism that touched hearts. He was known for his well-reasoned and impactful writings, which left a lasting impression on everyone.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav recalled his relationship with Prabhat Jha from their student days, emphasizing that Jha’s life was an ideal for all workers.

Vishnudutt Sharma, BJP State President and Khajuraho MP, expressed disbelief that Prabhat Jha was no longer with them, paying tribute to him by remembering his legacy.

Organization General Secretary Hitanand Ji remarked that leaving this world is inevitable, but leaving before time causes sorrow, expressing his grief over the loss of Prabhat Jha.

Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Narendra Singh Tomar stated that Prabhat Jha was a man of determination and was known for connecting with workers during his travels by bicycle. He prayed for his soul’s peace and for strength to the bereaved family.

Senior BJP Leader and Former Governor Captain Singh Solanki mentioned that he shared a lifelong guru-disciple relationship with Prabhat Jha.

Senior BJP Leader Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya highlighted the multifaceted talent of Prabhat Jha, stating that his personality could not be confined to a single identity. He shared his personal bond with Jha, recalling their long-standing relationship and their shared journeys to Ayodhya.

Minister Prahlad Singh Patel of the state government reflected on his early association with Prabhat Jha during his time in the Youth Wing, acknowledging the continuous guidance and affection he received from Jha.

Other notable speakers included Minister Narayan Singh Kushwah, Pradyumn Singh Tomar, BJP MLA Mohan Singh Rathore, State Working Committee member Jaiprakash Rajoria, Group Editor of Swadesh Newspaper Atul Tare, Additional Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh Vivek Khedkar, and Congress leader Sunil Sharma, who all shared their memories of Prabhat Jha during the memorial service.

The event was conducted by Gwalior City District President Abhay Chaudhary, and Prabhat Jha’s son, Tushmul Jha, represented the grieving family.

The service was also attended by Sridhar Paradkar, National Organization Minister of the All India Literary Council, State Minister Rakesh Shukla, Former Minister Maya Singh, Divisional Incharge Vijay Dubey, State Minister Lokendra Parashar, State Media Incharge Ashish Usha Agarwal, District Incharge Arun Chaturvedi, Rural District President Kaushal Sharma, Former Minister OPS Bhadoriya, Senior Leader Shailendra Barua, Former Mayor Mrs. Samiksha Gupta, State Working Committee members Vedprakash Sharma, Kamal Makhejani, Suman Sharma, Former MLA Munnalal Goyal, Ramesh Agarwal, Kamalapat Arya, Ghanshyam Pirounia, Vipin Dixit, Uday Agarwal, Surendra Sharma, and Krishnakanta Tomar, along with various social organizations’ officials and a large number of party workers and dignitaries from Gwalior.
