CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in several districts of Bihar till June 13. In view of the possibility of adverse weather, special alert messages have been sent to people’s mobile phones so that they remain vigilant and take necessary precautions. The administration has also directed the concerned departments to remain on alert mode, and the situation of waterlogging in low-lying areas is being monitored.
Rain was recorded in Muzaffarpur and Madhubani districts, bringing relief from the sultry heat. In Khagaria and several other areas, clouds covered the sky throughout the day and the weather appeared changed. According to weather experts, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by thunder and lightning and strong winds in different parts of the state over the next few days.
The Meteorological Department has appealed to people not to step out unnecessarily during bad weather, not to take shelter in open places or under trees, and to exercise special caution during lightning. In view of the continuously changing weather, the administration and disaster management teams are also keeping a close watch on the situation.
