Madhya Pradesh’s Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH Minister, Inder Singh Parmar, honored NSS volunteers of the “Republic Day Parade – 2025” at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, during a ceremony held at his residence in Bhopal. He extended his best wishes for their bright future.
Minister Parmar also felicitated NSS volunteers from Madhya Pradesh, who actively participated in the “Young Leader Dialogue” with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, discussing India’s vision for 2047. The volunteers were honored with certificates, medals, shawls, and coconut tokens, presented by the Honorable Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
Republic Day Parade & NSS Achievements
Returning NSS volunteers showcased photographs of their experiences during the parade and shared their insights from the national camp with Minister Parmar. A total of eight NSS volunteers from Madhya Pradesh, including Sandhya Yadav, Vishakha Sen, Prachi Jhariya, Anshika Joshi, Ajay Singh Parihar, Niranjan Bisen, Atul Sen, and Sachin Patel, saluted the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at the Republic Day Parade.
Additionally, NSS volunteers Rahul Lodhi and Vipin Sen participated in the prestigious “Young Leader Dialogue 2025” with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, discussing India’s roadmap for 2047. The NSS contingent also introduced Madhya Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage through cultural performances before the President.
Minister’s Call for Leadership & Social Service
Minister Parmar encouraged the volunteers to take leadership roles in community-based initiatives under “Campus to Community” programs. He also highlighted plans to introduce a credit system for NSS activities, ensuring students receive academic recognition for their social service contributions.
Minister Parmar emphasized the need for value-based living and urged NSS volunteers to integrate their learning into daily life and nation-building efforts. He called for large-scale tree plantations under the “Vidyavan” initiative to promote environmental conservation among youth.
