This was the unanimous opinion expressed by various speakers during the Hindi Diwas program organized by the Department of Journalism at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication.
Hindi Diwas was celebrated with enthusiasm and dignity. The program began with students presenting their thoughts on the importance of the Hindi language. Through their poems, short stories, and research papers, students highlighted the sensitivity, diversity, and relevance of Hindi.
The creative contributions presented during the celebration not only showcased the beauty of the language but also reflected social and cultural concerns. The main highlight of the program was a special research presentation by Srishti Kumari on Hindi, where she offered insightful perspectives on the current status of the language and its future possibilities. Similarly, Satyam Mishra deeply impressed the audience with his poem based on “Singhasan Khali Karo Ki Janata Aati Hai” in the context of Westernization.
In addition, Udyansh Pandey, who presided over the program, delivered a special address on the social, cultural, and literary role of Hindi, making students aware of the importance of their mother tongue. The active participation and performances of the students proved that the younger generation is not only embracing the Hindi language but is also determined to enrich it further. The entire atmosphere of the celebration was filled with enthusiasm and creative energy.
This Hindi Diwas celebration turned into a memorable moment for the department, which once again inspired both students and teachers toward the dignity and importance of the language. On this occasion, Head of the Department Rakhi Tiwari, Professor Shivkumar Vivek, and all faculty members were present. The program was organized and conducted under the leadership of students Srishti Kumari, Udyansh Pandey, Abhiraj Mishra, and Kartikeya Pandey. On this occasion, Chhavi Batham, the winner of the quiz competition, was also awarded.
