CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Hindi Fortnight Celebrations at NITTTR Bhopal Highlight Importance of Hindi Language
The National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal organized Hindi Fortnight, emphasizing the significance of the Hindi language through various competitions and activities. The event included a Hindi workshop, essay competition, “Picture Story Writing” activity, original short poetry contest, dictation competition, crossword contest, humorous poetry, impromptu speeches, and quiz sessions.
The closing ceremony of Hindi Fortnight was graced by renowned poet and literary figure Sandeep Dwivedi as the chief guest, while the program was chaired by Chandra Charu Tripathi, Director of the Institute and President of NARAKAS, with Mrs. Vandana Tripathi attending as a distinguished guest.
During the event, Sandeep Dwivedi recited some of his famous works, including “Rone Se Kuch Hota Hai Kya” and “Beman Bhi Rehna Hota Hai”, in his signature style. Praising the institute, he noted that even as a technical institution, NITTTR Bhopal remains actively engaged in promoting the official language Hindi. He added that usually, technical institutes are expected to contribute less in Hindi, but NITTTR Bhopal has made its presence felt across various Hindi platforms, dispelling this notion. He further emphasized that literary works belong in libraries, not museums.

Director Tripathi remarked that Hindi is not just a language; it is the soul of our country and a reflection of our culture. Hindi brings together our traditions, cultures, and ideas on a common platform, which is why it is rapidly spreading not only in India but internationally.
Official Language Coordinator P.K. Purohit highlighted the institute’s achievements in Hindi, noting that in the past two years, the institute has received multiple awards and recognition for its outstanding contributions to the field of Hindi, and has also been commended during inspections by parliamentary committees. He emphasized that Hindi should not only remain a part of our lives but also be accorded due respect on every platform.
The event was conducted by Shobha Lekhwani and Sanjay Tripathi, and concluded with the distribution of prizes to winners of various competitions
