CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of Executive Professor Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal is organizing Hindi Fortnight 2024 from September 14 to 30, 2024. This event aims to promote the use and propagation of Hindi in institutional work, increase awareness among staff about Hindi, and encourage its greater use in daily tasks.
On the occasion of Hindi Day, Dr. Ajay Singh will appeal to all department heads, faculty members, officials, and staff to conduct as much work as possible in Hindi. Prof. Singh said, “AIIMS is fully committed to the use of Hindi in official communication and daily operations. Hindi Fortnight offers an opportunity to understand the importance of our national language and further strengthen its use in the workplace. I urge all staff to actively participate in this fortnight and make Hindi an integral part of their professional lives.”
Various competitions are being organized as part of the event. On September 17, 2024, a Rajbhasha Knowledge Competition will take place, while a Hindi essay writing competition will be held on September 19, 2024. Following this, a Hindi poetry recitation for Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ officers will be held on September 20, 2024, and for Group ‘C’ employees and students on September 23, 2024. A Hindi typing competition is scheduled for September 24, 2024, and a Hindi slogan competition for non-Hindi speaking staff will be held on September 25, 2024.
The main ceremony of Hindi Fortnight 2024 will take place on September 30, 2024, at 3:00 PM, where Prof. Singh and other officials will distribute awards and certificates to the winners.
