CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A Hindi Fortnight is being organized at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhopal, until September 30. The Hindi Fortnight was inaugurated under the leadership and auspices of Lt. Colonel Ashish Agarwal, Director of NIFT Bhopal, along with Dr. Jaideep R.S., Associate Professor at NIFT Bhopal, Rajdeep Singh Khanuja, Assistant Professor, Mohammad Rizwan Ahmed, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Student Development Activities (SDAC), and Ms. Samta, Junior Translation Officer at NIFT Bhopal, by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Following the lamp lighting ceremony, all the officials, faculty members, and staff working in the office took the Rajbhasha pledge in the presence of the Director of NIFT Bhopal. They also listened to the Hindi Day messages from the Honorable Home Minister, Amit Shah, and NIFT Director General, Mrs. Tanu Kashyap.

During the Hindi Fortnight, various competitions such as Hindi Essay Writing, Hindi Picture Description, Hindi Poetry Recitation, Hindi Typing, Hindi Translation and Language Knowledge, Hindi Debate, Hindi Noting and Drafting, and Hindi Dictation will be organized to inspire and encourage all the officials, faculty members, and staff working in the office to work in the official language Hindi. The winners of these competitions will be awarded cash prizes and certificates. The prizes are as follows:

First Prize: ₹5000

Second Prize: ₹4000

Third Prize: ₹3000

Encouragement Prize: ₹1000

A Hindi essay competition was organized, in which faculty members, officials, and staff of the institute participated.
