CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, organized a Hindi workshop on the topic “Use and Compliance of Rajbhasha Hindi” through its Rajbhasha Cell. Addressing the staff during the workshop, the institute’s Director and President of NARAKAS, Prof. Chandra Charu Tripathi, emphasized that unity and communication are essential to achieve any major objective, and language plays a key role in this. Hindi is rapidly progressing towards becoming a global language. The foundation of human development lies in one’s mother tongue. During India’s freedom struggle, Hindi played a significant role in uniting people. The Rajbhasha Cell of NITTTR Bhopal has been continuously working to promote Hindi, resulting in the institute receiving 7 awards from various national platforms over the past 2 years.
As a subject expert, Bharat Bhushan Deshmukh, Rajbhasha Officer from ISER Bhopal, conducted a training session on “Official Translation” for all employees. He explained that while a translator has the freedom to add or remove words, it is the translator’s responsibility to preserve the true essence of emotions. He urged the employees to promote Hindi in their core work and to use English only as a language for translation.
Another expert, Sanjay Tripathi, Secretary of NARAKAS, delivered a lecture on “Artificial Intelligence Translation Tools”, while Babli Chaturvedi, Secretary of the institute’s Rajbhasha Cell, provided detailed insights on the “Union’s Official Language Policy, Rajbhasha Act 1963, and Rajbhasha Rules 1976.”
Rajbhasha Coordinator P.K. Purohit described the institute’s achievements in promoting Hindi and stated that Hindi has already established its presence on the global stage. The global expansion of Hindi spans both language and culture, and Hindi is now taught in many universities worldwide. He emphasized that it is not only essential to make Hindi an integral part of our lives but also to maximize its use in the workplace.
The workshop was attended by officials and employees from the institute as well as from Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra.
