CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Hong Kong is once again preparing to celebrate international food, drink and flavours. The annual Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival 2026, organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, will be held from October 29 to November 1.

This year’s theme is “Taste the World’s Best”. Set against the striking backdrop of Victoria Harbour, the four-day festival will bring together cuisines from around the world, select beverages and Hong Kong’s local culinary culture on one platform.

More than 340 stalls will offer global flavours this year, an increase of over 10 percent compared with last year. They will present wine products and a variety of dishes from around 31 countries and regions. Special pavilions from Australia, Canada and South Korea will be part of the festival for the first time.

Selected wines from France’s Bordeaux region, along with products from Italy, Spain, Chile and other major regions, will be among the key attractions. Visitors will also have the opportunity to taste special dishes from internationally renowned chefs, award-winning restaurants and prestigious hotels.

Among the main attractions of the festival will be the “Grand Wine Pavilion”, “Amex Gourmet Club”, “Tasting Room” and “Coffee Village”. In the Tasting Room, celebrated chefs from different countries will present dishes prepared through special collaborations. Expert-led sessions will also be held for wine tasting and for understanding the right pairing of wine with food.

Special dishes and beverages will also be prepared to present Hong Kong’s local culinary traditions in a new style. These offerings, combining traditional flavours with modern culinary techniques, are expected to give the festival a distinctive character. The Coffee Village will offer speciality coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages.

The food and dining celebrations will continue in November after the four-day event with “Hong Kong Gourmet Month”. From November 1 to 30, various restaurants and bars across the city will offer special menus, limited-time dishes and attractive food-related offers. Visitors holding festival tickets may also receive special benefits at selected establishments.

According to the organisers, the initiative aims to promote Hong Kong’s food and beverage industry, extend tourists’ length of stay and create new opportunities for local businesses. The event will also serve as an opportunity to showcase the city’s international identity and diverse culinary culture.
