CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : State Minister Krishna Gaur Inspects Post-Matric Girls’ Hostel with Modern Facilities
Krishna Gaur, State Minister for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge), inspected the Post-Matric Girls’ Hostel for Backward Classes located on Bhadbhada Road, Bhopal. She stated that over the next three years, all departmental hostels in the state will be upgraded into model hostels. These model hostels will provide quality food, ideal living conditions and environment, as well as necessary physical resources.
Minister Gaur mentioned that 108 hostels are operational in the state. In the first phase, 30 girls’ hostels have been selected for upgradation. She added that in these 50-seater hostels, facilities such as model kitchens, modern mess arrangements, rooftop solar plants, e-libraries, Wi-Fi, and recreation rooms are being installed through the CSR model.

At the Backward Classes Post-Matric Hostel on Bhadbhada Road, Bhopal, the renovation of the building, including toilet blocks, kitchen, mess, dining hall, living areas, and the interior of student rooms, has already been completed.
Minister Gaur emphasized that the government under Dr. Mohan Yadav is committed to providing all possible facilities to students. Soon, gyms and libraries will also be made available in all hostels. During the inspection, Saurabh Suman, Commissioner of the Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Department, was also present.
