CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As per the directions of Bhopal Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh, a meeting of departmental officials, Anganwadi workers, and social workers was held on Thursday at the Collector’s Office, Bhopal under the “Hum Honge Kamyab” Mission. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Magistrate Sumit Pandey.

The primary objective of the meeting was to address issues related to children who are being deprived of their fundamental rights, are drifting toward substance abuse, or are being led onto the wrong path due to parental illiteracy and poor economic conditions, pushing their future into uncertainty. It was decided that the Education Department and administrative officials will take responsibility for preparing their essential documents and ensuring that these children receive their rightful entitlements.

Key directions during the meeting were provided by SDM Bhopal Ravi Shankar Rai and Additional DCP Shalini Dixit.

It was also decided that a survey of migrant workers’ children studying in the “Flyover Pathshala,” run by Advocate Vineeta Tomar, Secretary of Manavta Sanrakshak Trust, will be conducted on April 18, 2026. The survey aims to identify children who are deprived of their basic rights due to the absence of documents such as birth certificates and Aadhaar cards. Necessary steps will then be taken to facilitate documentation and ensure that these children, along with others, can access their rightful benefits.
