CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Gayatri Shaktipith Bhopal, a human chain focused on de-addiction was formed, and a rally was held as part of Prohibition Week, jointly organized by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Bhopal Division, and the Gayatri Parivar, Bhopal. Students, teachers from Shri Ram School (Hindi and English Medium), and members of the Gayatri family participated in the event. The children carried banners and placards with slogans and messages about the harmful effects of addiction. The rally also included an oath for de-addiction, administered by Joint Director R.K. Singh. Gayatri Shaktipith’s administrator, Ramchandra Gaikwad, delivered a message on the dangers of addiction.
During the program, individuals who have made significant contributions in the field of de-addiction were honored. These included Dinesh Singune, Munish Shukla, Sharad Srivastava (photographer), Anand Saxena, and Santosh Yogi from the social division. Prominent attendees from Jan Abhiyan Parishad included Kokila Chaturvedi, Shivraj Kushwaha, Ashok Saxena, Shyam Sharma, Ram Prakash Gupta, O.P. Tamrakar, C.L. Chaurase, Ghanshyam Patidar, Dayanand Samele, Anil Joshi, Shravan Geete, R.V. Chauria, Anmol Pathak, Gopal, and Kamal Verma, along with the school’s teachers. The event was conducted by Ramesh Nagar.
