CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University and the State Open School Education Board have decided to establish harmony for the benefit of students between them. Both institutions have agreed that very soon an MOU will be signed between them. After that, Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University and the State Open School Education Board will assist in ensuring the future of students by providing various diplomas and degrees through distance education to students across the state. The main guest at the meeting was Prabhat Tiwari, Director, State Open School Education Board, who was present at the university along with members of his board. The meeting was chaired by Sanjay Tiwari, the Vice-Chancellor of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University.

Mr. Prabhat Tiwari, Director of the State Open School Education Board, briefed the present officials and professors of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University through a digital presentation about the schemes being run by the Open Schools. It was also mentioned that the State Open School Education Board of Madhya Pradesh is currently running three schemes. The first scheme is “Never Stop”, which helps students of classes 10th and 12th to easily pass. The second scheme is “Come Back”, which provides education to students who have left school and allows them to complete their 10th and 12th grades. The third scheme is “Education for All”, which includes policies to connect every class with education. Mr. Tiwari also informed that the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board has a fully equipped “World on Wheels” bus that educates students about education throughout Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, the board is also conducting examinations equivalent to ITI. The board has taken over 53 schools of the Higher Education Department in entire Madhya Pradesh. The board provides salaries to the teachers in these schools, but for infrastructure, the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board provides full assistance.

During the meeting held at Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University, the university’s directorate, represented by Anita Kaushal, informed about the university’s activities through a presentation. Along with this, discussion was also held regarding the “Skill Development” program with Prabhat Tiwari, Director of the State Open School Education Board. At the end of the meeting, it was ensured that the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board and Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University will jointly start diploma programs for students and both institutions will assist each other.
