CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The grand inauguration of the IEEE Student Branch at Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), Bhopal was successfully held in a dignified atmosphere at the university’s Sharda Auditorium. This initiative is set to become a significant milestone in connecting students with technical excellence, innovation, research, and global professional platforms.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest was Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Tomar, Chairperson, IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section. The Guest of Honour, Dr. Ashish Singhal, Chairperson, Student Activities Committee, IEEE M.P. Section, also graced the event with his esteemed presence. From the university, Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Prakash Dubey, Vice Chancellor; Dr. Sangita Johri, Registrar; Dr. Rachna Chaturvedi, Director Research, IES Group of Universities; and Dr. Vinay Yadav, Dean, Engineering and Technology were specially present.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a formal welcome and felicitation of the guests. In his inspiring address, Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Tomar encouraged students to develop themselves in line with technological innovation, research, and global competitiveness. He stated that by connecting with international platforms like IEEE, students can gain extensive opportunities in technical leadership, knowledge expansion, and career development.
Dr. Ashish Singhal provided detailed insights into various IEEE activities, student development programs, and international opportunities, motivating students to make the best use of this platform.
Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Prakash Dubey, in his motivational address, said that the IEEE Student Branch will play a vital role in taking technical education and research culture at the university to new heights. Registrar Dr. Sangita Johri encouraged students to strengthen their skills, leadership abilities, and global networking through this platform.
Dr. Vinay Yadav inspired students to actively participate in innovation, technical projects, and professional activities, while Dr. Rachna Chaturvedi highlighted the importance of such platforms in research, collaboration, and holistic development.
