CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) December Term-End Examination 2025 will commence on December 1, 2025, and conclude on January 14, 2026. These 40-day-long examinations are being conducted for undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, diploma, and PG diploma courses.
Anshuman Upadhyay, Additional Director of IGNOU Bhopal Regional Centre, informed that 16 exam centers have been established for this exam session. Among them, four centers are located in Ujjain, Hoshangabad, Indore, and the Bhopal Central Jail, where enrolled inmates will also be able to appear for the exams. In Bhopal, two exam centers have been set up at Motilal Nehru Science College and Career College. Indore will have three exam centers. Additionally, IGNOU exams will be held in Gwalior, Mandsaur, Jhabua, Shivpuri, Mhow, Khandwa, Ujjain, and Narmadapuram.
To appear in the December 2025 Term-End Exams, students must fill out the online exam form through IGNOU’s Samarth portal. The last date to submit the exam form is October 6, 2025. Students missing this deadline can still submit the form by October 20, 2025, with a late fee of ₹1100. While filling the form, students must provide their ABC ID to avoid delays in result declaration.
Students may choose to appear from any IGNOU exam center across India. However, once the hall ticket is issued, no changes in the selected exam center will be allowed. Therefore, students are advised to carefully select their regional and exam center while applying.
