CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A major employment opportunity is coming up for students and alumni of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The university’s Campus Placement Cell will organise a two-day mega campus placement drive on September 17 and 18, 2026. The event will begin at 10 a.m. at the B.R. Ambedkar Convention Centre on the IGNOU campus at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. The drive is being organised in collaboration with CII and Axis Bank Sales Academy.
Companies including Axis Bank, Samsung, iEnergizer, Cogent E Services, Tata Play Fiber, Ather and 1Point1 Solutions will take part in the placement drive. Opportunities will be offered across roles such as banking, sales, customer support and pre-sales in different companies. Initial salaries for some positions are stated to range from ₹22,000 to ₹35,000 per month.
In addition, Axis Bank Sales Academy will hold a special recruitment drive on September 17 for more than 200 positions. Graduate candidates from any stream can apply. Candidates must be between 21 and 28 years of age, and the selection process will include screening, a test/interview, training and final onboarding.
The placement drive is only for IGNOU students and alumni. Candidates must bring an updated resume, identity proof, photograph and educational certificates.
