In view of the growing role of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has launched a six-month executive programme on artificial intelligence in healthcare. The programme is being conducted under the institute’s Continuing Education Programme, and the admission process for its third batch has begun.

Graduate professionals working in healthcare, technology and related fields can apply for the programme. According to the institute, graduates working in industry or academia whose work is related to artificial intelligence in healthcare are eligible. The programme will run for six months, with classes held online on weekends.

The curriculum will provide training in the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning, along with the use of healthcare data, medical artificial intelligence, generative AI, agentic AI and responsible AI. Participants will also develop an understanding of how to implement AI solutions in real healthcare settings in a safe, ethical and effective manner. The programme will run from December 12, 2026, to May 30, 2027. Classes will be held on Saturdays from 6 pm to 7:30 pm and on Sundays from 11 am to 12:30 pm. The last date to apply is December 9, 2026. The programme fee is Rs 1.50 lakh plus 18 percent Goods and Services Tax. Successful participants will receive an e-certificate from IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme.
