University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K.G. Suresh stated that Hindi is one of the most spoken and read languages in the world. It is in demand in many countries globally, as well as in many government and private institutions within India for Hindi language, translation, and technology. Prof. Suresh mentioned that considering these factors, the Department of Indian Languages has been established at the university. This department will help students carve out a bright future in this field. With this perspective, the university has introduced this specialized course. A language laboratory will soon be established under the Department of Indian Languages, focusing on pronunciation and spelling.

Dr. Rakhi Tiwari mentioned that the B.A. course in Hindi Language, Technology, and Translation is designed to develop such skills in students. By completing this course, students can establish themselves as translators, Rajbhasha officers, Hindi language journalists, creative writers, anchors, radio jockeys, and professors or researchers of Hindi on a global and national level. Additionally, after completing the B.A. in Hindi Language, Technology, and Translation (Honors/Research), students will gain the skills to translate various types of content, such as commercial, educational, financial, legal, marketing, medical, political, scientific, and technical materials. They will also be able to understand English-Hindi language and information communication and language technology well for their career development. Students will learn to use translation-oriented application software and create content using artificial intelligence and machine translation.
