CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The first meeting of the Inter-Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) for the year 2025 was held at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal. IMPCC Chairman and Additional Director General of PIB Bhopal, Prashant Pathrabe, informed members that the PIB Bhopal office was relocated in December from 11, Vaishali Nagar to the second floor of the administrative building at Doordarshan Kendra, Shyamla Hills.

He highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ken-Betwa Link Project in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, and PIB Bhopal effectively managed the publicity for the event. Pathrabe also mentioned that in December and January, several Union Ministers, including Shivraj Singh and Nitin Gadkari, visited Madhya Pradesh, and PIB Bhopal handled the media outreach for these visits.

MANIT Bhopal Director, Karunesh Kumar Shukla, presented an overview of the institute’s journey since its inception. He emphasized that with approximately 6,500 students and 284 faculty members, MANIT focuses on quality education and intellectual wellness. He stressed that the institution aims to produce job creators rather than job seekers and is committed to strengthening the startup ecosystem.

During the meeting, PIB Bhopal’s Additional Director General Prashant Pathrabe and MANIT Director Karunesh Kumar Shukla unveiled a pictorial book titled Bhopal, authored by MANIT Director Rahul Tiwari. The book beautifully captures the essence of Bhopal through images.

The event was attended by DD News and All India Radio News Director Pooja P. Vardhan, CBC Bhopal Deputy Director Sharik Noor, IGRMS representative Ashok Kumar Sharma, CSIR-AMPRI Principal Scientist Sattanand Mishra, ASI’s Rajesh Kumar Sahu, and representatives from various central government departments based in Bhopal, who shared updates on their respective activities.
