CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The meeting of the Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) was held at the Doordarshan Kendra, Bhopal. During the meeting, Committee Chairman and Additional Director General of PIB, Prashant Pathrabe, emphasized the need to focus publicity efforts on the theme of “Water Conservation” during the month of July.

Highlighting the activities carried out by PIB Bhopal in May and June, Director Pathrabe stated that the department had conducted awareness campaigns on “Women Empowerment” and “Cyber Security” through articles and other media formats. He also referred to the Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan held at Jamboree Ground, Bhopal, addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar. Director Pathrabe noted that PIB Bhopal provided extensive coverage of this event across social media and other platforms.

Director Pathrabe also shared information about “Yoga Sangam”, an event organized on International Yoga Day 2025 by PIB Bhopal, CBC Bhopal, and the Sports Authority of India Bhopal. He further mentioned the event held on June 2 in Bhopal, where Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, L. Murugan, donated ambulances for divyangjans (persons with disabilities).

Discussing Operation Sindoor, he stated that PIB Fact Check and PIB Bhopal effectively countered several misleading and fake news items circulated on social media by presenting factual and transparent rebuttals.

He also highlighted the WEAVES 2025 Conference, held from May 1 to 4 in Mumbai, noting that PIB Bhopal ensured robust and widespread coverage of the event on social media and other platforms.
