CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria with Tarzan Gautam, Manager of the Food Corporation of India. The main objective of the meeting was to encourage freight loading and discuss measures to increase railway revenue. Special emphasis was placed on the facilities proposed by the railway, where various incentive schemes and services were highlighted. These schemes aim to motivate traders to transport more goods through the railway.
The Manager of the Food Corporation of India also discussed the challenges faced in freight loading and transportation, and the railway assured them that their issues would be promptly resolved. It was mentioned during the meeting that, under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager, continuous efforts are being made by the Business Development Unit (BDU) officials to encourage traders to transport their goods via railway. New measures and schemes to further promote freight loading in the future were also discussed, including improved facilities for goods transportation and the use of digital technologies.
