CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Yoga classes have commenced in the Ayush department of AIIMS, and the number of participants is increasing daily. Yoga has become one of the essential activities for our lives. Today, the entire world is looking towards India because discussions on Ayurveda and Yoga have been ongoing in India since ancient times to ensure longevity and health. Today, every person is troubled by some issue,
whether it be a child, elderly, or youth. However, in India, through Ayush (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy), diseases are completely treated. Since the introduction of yoga in the Ayush department, the number of practitioners has increased sixfold. According to Ajay Singh, the executive director of AIIMS Bhopal, everyone should practice yoga daily as it provides us with overall health. The craze for yoga has been increasing among people for some time now.
There is a continuous increase in the number of participants and their recovery. Senior medical officer of the Ayush department, Dr. Danish Javed, says they will continuously promote it in the future to ensure that everyone benefits fully. Yoga instructor of the Ayush department, Chanchal Suryavanshi, says, “We conduct two sessions every day, from 7 to 8 in the morning and from 11 to 12 in the afternoon,
in which not only healthy individuals but also patients suffering from various diseases, including children, elderly, and youth, are participating.” Their numbers are steadily increasing. People are doing it with great enthusiasm and are happily spreading its benefits to those around them. Anuradha Varshney, who attends yoga sessions at AIIMS, says, “I have been doing yoga for three days now, and I feel very good and light.” Another patient, Yamn Gupta, suffering from cervical spondylitis, says,
“I have been practicing yoga for a week now, and I am feeling much better. We should all practice it.” Yoga practitioner Mohan Kishor Parmar says, “By practicing yoga, I not only experience health benefits but also feel energetic throughout the day.” Another yoga practitioner, Sandhya Parmar, says, “Since I started yoga, I don’t feel tired even after working all day, and I remain fresh and energetic.”
