CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Deputy Director of Quality Assurance (Ammunition Projects), Ministry of Defence, New Delhi, Commodore Sanjay Chopra visited the high-tech labs of various departments and Center of Excellence at NITTTR Bhopal. The Quality Assurance Directorate ensures the quality of a complete range of weapons, ammunition, equipment, and stores supplied to the armed forces.

On this occasion, NITTTR Director C.C. Tripathi stated that our institute can play a role in areas such as defense equipment, training of human resources, testing the quality of equipment and products developed in the institute in defense quality assurance labs, and solving real-life defense problems for students. India is progressing towards self-reliance in the field of defense by adopting indigenous technology. Commodore Sanjay Chopra, while touring NITTTR’s Industry 4.0 labs, stated that NITTTR Bhopal can collaborate with several defense institutions.

He highlighted the need for training in advanced technology in the defense sector and the role of NITTTR. Mr. Chopra also discussed with NITTTR’s faculty and technical staff. NITTTR Bhopal has proposed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to the Ministry of Defence in this direction. Captain O.P. Sharma, along with Prof. K.K. Purohit, Prof. K.K. Jain, Prof. R.K. Dixit, Sanjay Agrawal, Pallavi Bhatnagar, Major Nishant Ojha, and Jay Singh were also present on the occasion.
