CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “On the 133rd Birth Anniversary of the architect of the Constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari along with other Congress members reached the statue site of Ambedkar located at the Board Office Chowk. They paid homage by offering garlands and flowers and chanting ‘Jai Bhim’ at his statue. Subsequently, at the Pradesh Congress headquarters, Congress members offered garlands and flowers to the portrait of Ambedkar.
In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari offered garlands at the statue of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar located at the Board Office and paid tribute by chanting ‘Jai Bhim’. Mr. Patwari recalled Baba Saheb’s thoughts, stating that he dedicated his life to fighting for the weak.
He said, ‘Today, on this auspicious day, I remember Baba Saheb Ambedkar and pledge to protect the Constitution he created. We all pledge to protect the Constitution and democracy because this election is about protecting the Constitution and democracy.’
Mr. Patwari alleged that under the double oppressive BJP government, injustice and atrocities against Dalits, tribals, backward classes, and the weak are increasing unprecedentedly in Madhya Pradesh and the entire country. He confirmed that BJP MPs have been campaigning for changing the Constitution, as they have chanted slogans of crossing the 400-seat mark. He urged everyone to fulfill Baba Saheb’s dreams by building India according to the spirit of the Constitution.
The program held at the statue site and the Pradesh Congress headquarters was attended by Mukesh Nayak, Head of the Media Department, former minister P.C. Sharma, MLAs Arif Masood, Arun Srivastava, Kunal Chaudhary, C.P. Mittal, Rajiv Singh, J.P. Dhanopia, District City Congress Committee President Praveen Saxena, and District (Rural) Congress Committee President Anokhi Manasinh Patel, Ravi Saxena, Jitendra Mishra, Priyanka Sharma, Jayshree Harikaran, Abhishek Sharma, Rakesh Chaturvedi, Mahendra Singh, Guddu Chauhan, Monu Saxena, Hemant Narwaria, and Sitaram Yadav, along with others.”
