CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the Swachhata Pakhwada initiative, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Shri Sathya Sai Women’s College conducted an awareness program on cleanliness and the environment in the NSS-adopted village of Bagroda. As part of the initiative, Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Jungle Jalebi, and Jamun saplings were planted.

At the Higher Secondary School in Bagroda village, NSS volunteers and state campers Anshika Joshi, Harshita Rajput, Krishna, Vishakha, Muskan, Nisha, and Rani beautifully performed a street play with the message “Cleanliness is Service.”

On this occasion, Sarpanch Bhuri Hari Narayan Patel, Deputy Sarpanch Santosh Kumar Sharma, Village Panchayat Secretary Kamlesh Pal, the school principal, NSS Program Officer of Shri Sathya Sai Women’s College Manisha Tripathi, and Environmental Committee In-charge Dr. Nishi Yadav were present.
