In view of Independence Day, tight security arrangements have been made in the Bhopal division.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, 2024, stringent security arrangements are being made in the railways. Under the guidance of Bhopal Divisional Railway Manager Devashish Tripathi, and led by Senior Divisional Security Commissioner Prashant Yadav of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Bhopal, extensive security measures have been implemented by all RPF posts within the Bhopal division.

During this period, the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner has coordinated with senior officials of the Government Railway Police (GRP) to ensure that both the GRP and RPF jointly secure all stations, trains, parcel offices, railway premises, and important railway institutions and buildings within the Bhopal division.

There will be no compromise in railway security, and dog squads, CCTV, DFMD, HHMD, and other modern equipment are being utilized appropriately. Special attention is being given to ensure the safety of passengers, and heightened vigilance is being maintained in light of potential terrorist threats during the Independence Day celebrations.

Along with the RPF, GRP personnel are also being deployed with weapons at sensitive locations. Prashant Yadav has instructed all RPF post in-charges in the Bhopal division to take the necessary actions to ensure proper security arrangements.

On this occasion, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria stated, “The safety of railway passengers is our top priority. We are vigilant to ensure that there is no atmosphere of insecurity. We also urge passengers to immediately report any suspicious activity so that we can take appropriate action in a timely manner.”
