CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Postgraduate College, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal, Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar inaugurated the newly constructed centralized computer lab, English language lab, and Indian Knowledge Tradition Cell, as well as a Self-Help Group.
The minister also purchased a basil plant from the Self-Help Group and, in his address, said that India’s knowledge tradition is infinitely ancient. India has been a repository of the Vedas and knowledge since time immemorial. Our ancestors were not illiterate; they were filled with the knowledge received through the light of Indian spirituality, which provided us with practical and worldly knowledge. India’s knowledge is invaluable, which elevates it to the status of a world teacher. He also highlighted the importance of the invincible source of energy (in our culture, embodied in the form of rivers, forests, the environment, gods, and goddesses), from which we learned worship practices, prayer methods, and respect—an invaluable treasure of the Indian knowledge tradition. This tradition needs to be re-established, and it is our responsibility to pass on the ideals of the National Education Policy 2020 to the next generation.
On this occasion, College Jan Bhagidari Chairperson Dr. Bharti Kumbhare, committee members Ankit Garg, Surendra Vishwakarma, College Principal Surendra Bihari Goswami, all college professors, and a large number of students were present.
