CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The MP Police Community Policing Wing and Bhopal Police Commissionerate, in collaboration with the Regional Science Center Bhopal, inaugurated a mega program titled “Revisioning Futures: Youth Connect Programs.” This ambitious initiative by MP Police will bring a large number of children from the weaker sections of society (primarily girls) under the banner of “Srijan” for exposure visits to the Regional Science Center, Bhopal, in various phases.

The program was launched in the auditorium hall of the Regional Science Center, Bhopal. Rashmi Arun Shami, IAS, Principal Secretary of the Food Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and Chairperson of the Local Advisory Committee, attended the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest and addressed the gathering. In her speech, she emphasized the need for children to regularly visit the science center to learn complex STEM concepts through exploration and fun.

Other dignitaries present at the inauguration ceremony included Vineet Kapoor, PSO to DGP, DIG MP Police Pankaj Srivastava, Additional Commissioner of Police – Bhopal (Headquarters and Crime), Chandrashekhar Sharma, CGM, SBE, MP-CG, Priyanka Shukla, DCP Zone 1 Bhopal, and Saket Singh Kaurav, Project Coordinator, RSC Bhopal. Umesh Kumar, Director of Nehru Science Center, Mumbai, also graced the event virtually. This mega program will conclude on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day.
