CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Under the directions of Justice Vivek Agarwal, Madhya Pradesh High Court and Chairman of the High Court Legal Services Committee Jabalpur, and under the guidance and chief guestship of Principal District and Sessions Judge Amitabh Mishra, along with the presence of Mrs. Aarti Sharma, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Bhopal, a 15-day skill training program was inaugurated at Central Jail Bhopal on Monday.

During the program, Principal District and Sessions Judge Amitabh Mishra stated that during their time in incarceration, inmates need to prepare themselves to integrate into the mainstream society. It is essential to empower inmates by providing them with training so that they can prove their usefulness in society. Accordingly, inmates will be trained in various trades such as dyeing, weaving, painting, printing, and others, to enable them to be self-employed and reintegrate into society after their release from prison.

In this context, a 15-day skill training program is being conducted at Central Jail Bhopal, where inmates are being provided with skill training related to the printing business by ITI Govindpura Bhopal.

The inauguration of the program was attended by District Judges Arvind Sharma, Atul Saxena, Chief Judicial Magistrate Arun Singh, Judicial Magistrate Ashwini Singh, District Legal Aid Officer Abhay Singh, Central Jail Superintendent Rakesh Bhangare, ITI Principal Shrikant Golaich, and jail staff from the District Court Bhopal.”
