CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A 21-day workshop on the basics of theater and directing Sanskrit plays was inaugurated in the Bhopal campus of the Central Sanskrit University, run by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Students from various states of the country mainly Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Agartala, Orissa, Haryana, Tamil Nadu etc. came to participate in this workshop. Inaugural session was organized in the campus in which Chief Guest was present.

Acharya Tripathi, an expert in Sanskrit literature and former Vice Chancellor of National Sanskrit Institute, Radha Vallabh Tripathi, shared some information about the use of Sanskrit theater with the participants, Saraswat, Director of Mumbai University Theater Arts Academy and renowned film actor Prof. present as the guest. Yogesh Soman gave guidance to the students regarding the basics of theater application.

University Vice Chancellor Professor Srinivas Varkhedi was present as the president of the program through online medium and he congratulated the campus for organizing this wonderful event and gave proper guidance. The guests were welcomed and the proposal presentation was done by Ramakant Pandey, Director of Bhopal Campus. The program was coordinated by Prasad Bhide. The program was conducted by Ayush Dixit.

And the cooperation was from Harish Mishra. This 21-day workshop is being organized in the Bhavabhuti Auditorium of the campus, various lectures and experiments will be organised, prominent among the visiting experts will be the arrival of Senior Acharya YS Ramesh of Jaipur campus of the University for the training of Sanskrit speakers. Renowned dancer Mrs. Aishwarya Harish and renowned theater artist Suresh Babu will also be present in the workshop.
