CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Faculty of Emerging Technology at Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), Central India’s first skill university, inaugurated a laboratory for the Polytechnic Diploma. This skill-focused diploma, launched in collaboration with Hyundai Motors India, aims to equip students with technical proficiency. Notably, all courses at Scope Global Skills University are skill-centered, where the primary focus is on skill development alongside academic knowledge. This is the 8th Center of Excellence established at the university.

Present at the event were the University’s Vice-Chancellor Ajay Bhushan, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, and the Dean of the Faculty of Emerging Technology, Anurag Kulshreshtha. Hyundai Group’s West Region Service Head Baljinder Singh Dang, Surjit Hyundai’s Dealer Head Sagar, and CI Hyundai’s Dealer Head Akash were the guests of honor.

The event commenced with a welcome address by SGSU Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, who expressed joy at the new chapter being started with Hyundai Motors India. Baljinder Singh Dang, Service Head of Hyundai Motors India’s West Region, in his address, shared that during his student life, he felt a significant difference between studying technical subjects and working in the technical industry. He emphasized that this diploma program will be highly beneficial for students and will help address the shortage of skilled workers in the market.

Vice-Chancellor Ajay Bhushan, in his speech, expressed his happiness and stated that this partnership will undoubtedly be successful for both the university and Hyundai. He also highlighted that this collaboration will play a crucial role in upskilling India’s youth and providing them with numerous employment opportunities.

During the event, both institutions exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). SGSU faculty members P.S. Yadav and Sudhir Vishwakarma were awarded trainer certificates by Hyundai. The event was held at the university’s Vanmali Auditorium, attended by faculty members, students, and important Hyundai officials. The program was hosted by Ms. Vishakha Rajurkar.
