CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Taking into consideration passenger convenience, the rail administration has decided to start a new superfast bi-weekly express rail service between Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and Rewa, an important city in the Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh. This new rail service will commence on August 2, 2024. The inauguration of this new train service will be conducted by the Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Bhopal Railway Station, Platform No. 6, towards the Itarsi end, on August 2, 2024, at 11 PM with the flagging off of the train. On this occasion, the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister, the Honorable Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government, Honorable Members of Parliament, Honorable Members of Legislative Assembly, Honorable Mayor, other dignitaries of the city, media representatives, and general public will also be present. The new superfast express rail service is being started to enhance passenger facilities between Bhopal and Rewa. This will not only provide convenience to the passengers but also strengthen the connectivity between the two cities.

Timetable for Train Number 22145/22146 Bhopal-Rewa-Bhopal Superfast Bi-weekly Express:

The superfast bi-weekly express rail service between Bhopal and Rewa will operate from Bhopal on every Friday and Sunday, and from Rewa on every Saturday and Monday.

Train number 22145 Bhopal-Rewa Superfast Bi-weekly Express will depart from its originating station Bhopal at 23:00 hours from August 2, 2024, stopping at Rani Kamlapati at 23:13 hours, Narmadapuram at 00:13 hours the next day, Itarsi at 00:55 hours, Pipariya at 02:02 hours, Gadarwara at 02:38 hours, Narsinghpur at 03:12 hours, Jabalpur at 04:45 hours, Katni at 06:05 hours, Maihar at 06:53 hours, Satna at 07:40 hours, and will arrive at Rewa at 09:15 hours in the morning.

Similarly, train number 22146 Rewa-Bhopal Superfast Bi-weekly Express will depart from its originating station Rewa at 22:30 hours from August 3, 2024, stopping at Satna at 23:25 hours, Maihar at 23:53 hours, Katni at 00:50 hours the next day, Jabalpur at 02:10 hours, Narsinghpur at 03:28 hours, Gadarwara at 03:58 hours, Pipariya at 04:33 hours, Itarsi at 05:50 hours, Narmadapuram at 06:23 hours, Rani Kamlapati at 07:28 hours, and will arrive at Bhopal station at 08:05 hours in the morning.

Coach Composition:

This new rail service will have a total of 24 coaches, including 01 AC First cum Second Class, 01 AC Second Class, 01 AC Second cum Third Class, 04 AC Third Class, 11 Sleeper Class, 04 General Class, and 02 SLRD coaches. On its inaugural service (August 2, 2024), this train will run with 20 coaches, and thereafter, it will regularly run with 24 coaches.

The reservation facility for passengers on this new train service has already started. This new train service is being introduced to enhance passenger facilities between Bhopal and Rewa, providing significant benefits to the passengers.
