CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “Inauguration of Five Books by ISECT Publications: A ‘Meet the Author’ Event and Book Launch Held” Under the World Color initiative, ISECT Publications, Vanmali Creation Peeth, and Scope Global Skill University organized a book launch and ‘Meet the Author’ event at the Vanmali Auditorium located within the university campus. This time, the book launch series by ISECT Publications featured the release of five books by three authors from Bhopal. The books inaugurated included Dr. Meenu Pandey’s poetry collection “Dev Tumhare Liye,” Mr. Jagdish Malviya’s poetry collection “Kavya Tarangini,” and Mrs. Manorama Srivastava’s three novels “Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya,” “Aasmaan Apne Apne,” and “Chirag Dil Ka Jalao.”

The event was chaired by Mr. Santosh Choubey, senior poet and storyteller, Director of World Color, and Chancellor of Rabindra Nath Tagore University, with Mr. Mukesh Verma, senior storyteller and President of Vanmali Creation Peeth, Bhopal, as the chief guest. The event began with a formal inauguration through the lighting of lamps and offering garlands to the statue of Goddess Saraswati.

On the occasion of the book launch, ISECT Publications’ Marketing Manager, Mr. Maheep Nigam, managed the event, while Ms. Jyoti Raghuvanshi gave the welcome address and coordinated the event.

The ‘Meet the Author’ session began with the launch of Dr. Meenu Pandey’s poetry collection “Dev Tumhare Liye.” Dr. Pandey read some of her poems and discussed the creative process of her book, which contains 160 poems exploring various aspects of love. In one poem, she mentions, “Your love feels like Bougainvillea.” Dr. Pandey noted that this is her fourth poetry collection. Mr. Mujaffer Siddiqui reviewed Dr. Pandey’s collection, noting that reading her poems requires a romantic outlook, as her works convey both worldly and spiritual love. He also highlighted that the collection includes both metrical and free verse poetry, as well as ghazals.

 

Next, Mr. Jagdish Malviya’s poetry collection “Kavya Tarangini” was launched. Mr. Malviya read some of his poems and introduced his book, which is divided into five parts representing different stages of life. His collection includes both metrical and free verse poems conveying a sense of nationalism. He expressed the creative process in one poem by saying, “You will also have to endure the pain of creation.”

The book launch series also featured the inauguration of Mrs. Manorama Srivastava’s three novels: “Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya,” “Aasmaan Apne Apne,” and “Chirag Dil Ka Jalao.” Mrs. Srivastava shared that she is greatly influenced by film songs, which is reflected in her stories through numerous references to Hindi cinema songs. She mentioned that her novels convey moral values and patriotism and include her own poetry at various points. Additionally, she designed the covers of all three novels herself. Mrs. Manorama Pant, reviewing the novels, noted that readers would recall many songs while reading them and praised Mrs. Srivastava for her rapid writing and publishing. Mrs. Pant highlighted that writing a novel is challenging as it requires a deep understanding of the characters and their lives, and praised the detailed depiction of culture, tradition, and technology in the novels.

In his presidential address, Mr. Santosh Choubey congratulated ISECT Publications and the authors, commenting briefly on the unique features of each book. He highlighted the call for nation-building in Malviya’s poetry, the exploration of love in Pandey’s verses, and the deep understanding of context in Srivastava’s novels. Mr. Choubey elaborated on the World Color concept and its journey since 2019, noting that the initiative has grown globally and will be held in Mauritius in 2024, with creative participation from various organizations including the World Hindi Secretariat.

Chief Guest Mr. Mukesh Verma congratulated the authors and praised the ISECT Publications team, stating that it is unique to launch five books in a single day, each with a different flavor, and commended the rapid pace of publishing by ISECT Publications.

At the end of the event, Mr. Maheep Nigam expressed gratitude to the attending authors and all literature enthusiasts.
