Prof. Singh also announced that all employees of AIIMS Bhopal would receive free vaccinations against hepatitis, underscoring the institution’s commitment to the health and well-being of its staff. He noted that this vaccination campaign would cover not just doctors but also nursing staff, ward attendants, cleaning staff, and students, providing hepatitis B vaccines to all.

During the event, Prof. Singh personally interacted with patients, distributed fruits, and inquired about their well-being. Nodal Officer Dr. Abhishek Singhai presented a progress report on the hepatitis treatment center, revealing that 336 patients with hepatitis B and 101 patients with hepatitis C were registered at the center. These patients are receiving free medications and regular follow-ups. Dr. Singhai also mentioned that advanced machines like the viral load testing machine and FibroScan, essential for hepatitis management, are available at the center.
