CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The IRIA Resident Education Program (IREP) 2024 was inaugurated by Executive Professor Ajay Singh at AIIMS. This program, based on the theme “Radiology Essentials,” was jointly organized by the Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging at AIIMS and the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), MP Chapter.
In his inaugural speech, Dr. Ajay Singh discussed the crucial role of radiology in modern medicine, stating, “Radiology enables accurate diagnosis and the development of effective treatment plans. As medical technology evolves, it is essential that our residents are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to fully harness the potential of radiological innovations. IREP 2024 provides an opportunity for our future radiologists to learn, grow, and lead in this field.”
Professor Singh also emphasized the importance of continuous education and collaboration in advancing the field of radiology. He commended the efforts of the AIIMS Department of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging and the IRIA MP Chapter in organizing this program.
IREP 2024 is designed to provide comprehensive training on the fundamentals and advancements in radiology, including practical applications in clinical settings. Participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions on key topics such as advanced imaging techniques, radiological safety, and the latest trends in diagnostic radiology.
