CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As part of Mahavir International’s Golden Jubilee Year (50th anniversary) and the 2550th Nirvana Festival Year of Lord Mahavir, the Bhopal Center of Mahavir International was inaugurated. The grand auditorium of the Regional Science Center hosted this event, during which the newly formed executive committee took their oaths with the guiding principles of “Service to All, Love for All” and “Live and Let Live.”
In the ceremony, Mr. Amitabh Manya Jain was sworn in as President, M.K. Jain as Vice President, Manoj Jain (M.K. Bharat) as Secretary, and Chandresh Jain as Treasurer, all pledging to work with the sentiment of “May the whole world be happy, day and night.” The oath-taking ceremony also included 10 directors—Sharad Tamot, Ashish Bhagwatkar, Devesh Jain, Jyoti Swaroop Jain, Pramod Jain, Pushpendra Jain, Bharti Sanjay Jain, Sapan Saraf, Shailendra Jain, and Yash Jain—along with other members.
The Chief Guest at the inauguration of the Bhopal Chapter was International President of Mahavir International, Vir Anil Jain, who highlighted the activities and objectives of Mahavir International in his address. He emphasized the importance of the new generation in traditional businesses and urged all members to serve selflessly.
Mr. Manoj Srivastava (IAS), retired Additional Chief Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Government, who was a special guest at the event, expressed his views on “The Importance of Cultural Values in Developing Countries.” He also underscored the significant role of both governmental and non-governmental organizations, like Mahavir International, in the development of the country.
On this important occasion, Regional President G.S. Chauhan, Regional Director Pradeep Tongya, along with other distinguished guests such as Bhopal’s eminent social worker Manohar Lal Tongya, Jain Society President Manoj Banga, former President Pramod Himanshu, Aditya Manya, Devendra Jain Ruchi, Manoj Jain RM, Mukesh Sheetal, Rajendra TI, and Sanjay Mungawali, were present. Their presence underscored the social relevance of such organizations.
