CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of Executive Director Dr. Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal is training its employees with a spirit of service and a citizen-first mindset as part of the Government of India’s ambitious initiative, the Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Programme.
The objective of this programme is to bring a positive shift in the mindset of central government employees, thereby strengthening accountability, sensitivity, and a service-oriented attitude in public service.
The programme has now entered its second phase, during which 55 to 60 participants—including faculty members, nursing staff, and administrative personnel of AIIMS Bhopal—are being trained in two batches. The participants receiving training in this phase will, in the future, go on to train other employees in the institute, helping to widely spread the values and principles promoted through this initiative.
On this occasion, Prof. Ajay Singh remarked,
“Efforts like the Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Programme offer a fresh perspective to the functioning of public institutions.
When employees work with a spirit of service and place citizens at the center of their actions, the governance system becomes more responsive and effective.
If such initiatives are evaluated objectively, their utility can be further enhanced.”
Deputy Director (Administration), Colonel Ajit Kumar, also praised the initiative launched by the government, calling it a significant step toward bringing positive change in the public service system.
The chief mentor of this training programme is Jayalakshmi Sengupta, while Rajkumar Patil, Mayank Dixit, and Sandeep Hulke are serving as lead trainers conducting the training sessions.
