CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Under the guidance of General Manager Mrs. Shobhana Bandyopadhyay and the direction of Additional General Manager R.S. Saxena, the heads of departments at the headquarters, and the Divisional Railway Managers of the three divisions, the “Swachhata Special Campaign 4.0” was inaugurated along with the cleanliness fortnight as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiative.

As part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva 2024” initiative, to fulfill the resolve of cleanliness through voluntary labor (shramdaan), Additional General Manager R.S. Saxena administered the cleanliness pledge to all officers and employees of the West Central Railway headquarters in the railway premises. In this pledge, railway personnel committed to offering two hours of voluntary labor each week. They also pledged to promote the Swachh Bharat Mission and to keep the railway premises clean.

On this occasion, Senior Deputy General Manager Neeraj Kumar, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer Nitin Chaudhary, Principal Chief Engineer Ashutosh, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer Mukesh, Principal Chief Signal and Telecom Engineer Eknath Mohkar, Principal Chief Personnel Officer Prabhat, Principal Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) M.S. Hashmi, Chief Commercial Manager (Passenger Services) Rashmi Baghel, General Manager’s Secretary Rahul Jaipuriar, Deputy General Manager (General) Anurag Pandey, along with other senior officers and a large number of employees, were present.

Simultaneously, the “Swachhata Hi Seva” fortnight was launched in all three divisions and both factories of the West Central Railway, with various programs initiated as part of the campaign. Additionally, banners/posters related to the cleanliness awareness campaign are being displayed at key stations in the divisions to raise awareness about cleanliness. Public announcements are also being made at stations to spread cleanliness messages.

Additional General Manager R.S. Saxena encouraged the Divisional Railway Managers of the three divisions, senior officials of the departments, and railway personnel to actively participate in the cleanliness drive, make it a success, and continue their proactive involvement in the future.
