CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The renovated office of the Commercial Branch of Bhopal Division was inaugurated by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Bhopal, Devashish Tripathi. The Commercial Branch is an important section of the DRM office, where all the tasks related to railway commerce and passenger services are carried out.
The need for renovation of the Commercial Branch had been felt for a long time. Under the direction of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, the project was executed by the team of the Commercial Department with the support of the Engineering, Electrical, S&T, and Accounts branches. The renovation included improvements such as proper ventilation, modern furniture, better seating arrangements, modern computers, printers, high-speed internet, and suitable seating for visitors. The renovated office has been divided into sections for visitor convenience, and seating arrangements have been made accordingly, ensuring that visitors can easily complete their tasks.
On this occasion, Saurabh Kataria welcomed DRM Devashish Tripathi and, in his speech, stated, “Our aim is to provide an excellent workplace for employees and offer better services to passengers.”
During the inauguration, DRM Tripathi remarked, “This renovated office is important for both employees and passengers. It will provide a better workplace and services, boosting employee morale and efficiency.”
At the end of the program, Divisional Commercial Manager Pramod Kumar Tiwari delivered a vote of thanks.
Additional Divisional Railway Managers Rashmi Diwakar and Yogendra Baghel, Chief Project Manager (Gati Shakti) K.L. Meena, along with all divisional officers, other officials, and staff of the Commercial Department, were present at the event. After the program, a lunch was organized for everyone.
