CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The inauguration of the seven-day Faculty Development Program of the Computer Department at Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal campus, was completed under the chief guestship of Prof. R.N. Thapak, Vice-Chancellor of LNCT University. Computer faculty members from all campuses of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, across India have come to Bhopal to participate in this program. The program’s patron is the Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, Prof. Srinivas Barkhedi. The inaugural session was chaired by Prof. Ramakant Pandey, Director of Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal. Prof. Madan Mohan Jha, Dean of Student Welfare at Central Sanskrit University, was also present at the event.
In his presidential address, Prof. Ramakant Pandey highlighted the significance of computers in all fields of life in the current context. He stated that computers have brought a revolution in the field of education. He encouraged Sanskrit students to empower themselves with computer-based education to utilize and apply this knowledge in the preservation and dissemination of Sanskrit scriptures. Addressing the issues faced by Sanskrit students, he urged all computer faculty members to train and make the students proficient in computer skills, so that they can use the unique knowledge of Sanskrit scriptures for the welfare of humanity. The Honorable Director thanked Prof. Srinivas of Central Sanskrit University for choosing the Bhopal campus to host this Faculty Development Program.
Prof. Thapak praised Central Sanskrit University for its commendable work in the field of Sanskrit scriptures, noting that the university is proactive in preparing students according to contemporary needs and making special efforts for the preservation and modern application of scriptures.
Prof. Jha, Dean of Student Welfare at Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, in his introduction, mentioned that several subject experts have been selected for the Computer Faculty Development Program, who will train all faculty members in various dimensions of computer science over the next seven days, enhancing their knowledge. Prof. Neelabh Tiwari welcomed the guests in the inaugural session and informed that eminent scholars from the technical field have been invited as subject experts for this program, which is being attended by computer faculty from all over India. Lectures will be delivered by Prof. Ravi Kapoor, Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Anil Upamanyu, Smriti Upamanyu, Dr. Meenakshi Lone, and Swarnima Pandey.
The coordinator of this program being held at the Bhopal campus is Prof. Neelabh Tiwari, and the convener is Dr. Raman Mishra. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Anoop Mishra, and the session was conducted by Dr. Raman Mishra.?
