CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The workshop for the creation of the Shri Bhojraj National Calendar was inaugurated at the Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal campus. In this workshop, esteemed astrologers from various states of India will deliberate on the scriptural aspects of all the upcoming fasts and festivals in the year 2025-26, Samvat 2082, and make decisions accordingly. The workshop will also address the common misconceptions that arise regarding fasts and festivals each year.
Subject matter experts such as Prof. Hansdhar Jha and Vijayanand Adiga from Karnataka, Prof. P.V.B. Subrahmanyam from Devprayag, Uttarakhand, and Ashok Thapliyal from the L.B. Sha. Central Sanskrit University, Delhi, along with all the department’s astrologers, will collaborate to make these decisions. The campus director, Prof. Ramakant Pandey, welcomed everyone and emphasized the importance of making the calendar useful for the public. The head of the Astrology Department, Prof. Bharat Bhushan Mishra, shared his thoughts on the structure of the calendar and expressed his expectation that with everyone’s cooperation, the work will soon take a well-organized form.
