CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Inauguration of All-India Research Conference on the Tricentennial of Mother Ahilyabai at NITTTR Bhopal
The All-India Research Conference commemorating the tricentennial of Mother Ahilyabai’s birth was inaugurated by Inder Singh Parmar, Minister of Higher Education, Technical Education, and AYUSH Department, at NITTTR Bhopal. During the event, Director Parmar stated that Mother Ahilyabai was a living symbol of Indian knowledge traditions, who made significant contributions to social welfare, preservation of religious sites, and expansion of public education. He also mentioned that her vision was nationwide, and her life was dedicated to nation-building.
In his keynote address, Director Hemant Muktibodh stated that the life of Mother Ahilyabai inspires one to transform from “a point to a vast personality.” The event was chaired by Captain Meera Siddharth Dave, who highlighted that Ahilyabai Holkar was the only ruler to receive the title of “Punyashlok.”
Director C.C. Tripathi of NITTTR emphasized the importance of the conference and shared that over 125 research papers would be presented at the event. The conference will cover five major themes, including justice, Panch Parivartan (five changes), cultural reconstruction, women’s empowerment, and social evils.
The conference was attended by chancellors and researchers from various universities. The program was conducted by Mrs. Anita Lala.
