Increased Number of General Coaches in Kochuveli-Indore and Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: For the convenience of passengers, the rail administration has decided to replace one third-class air-conditioned economy coach with an additional general coach in train number 22646/22645 Kochuveli-Indore-Kochuveli Express and train number 12643/12644 Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Express. After this change, passengers will have access to three general coaches. This change will provide more convenience to general class passengers.

Train number 22646/22645 (Kochuveli-Indore-Kochuveli Express): This change will be effective from 10.08.2024 in train number 22646 from Kochuveli and from 12.08.2024 in train number 22645 from Indore.

Train number 12643/12644 (Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Express): This change will be effective from 06.08.2024 in train number 12643 from Thiruvananthapuram and from 09.08.2024 in train number 12644 from Hazrat Nizamuddin.

According to the new coach configuration, the train will now have a total of 21 coaches, including 02 second-class air-conditioned, 08 third-class air-conditioned economy, 05 sleeper class, 03 general class, 01 SLRD, 01 generator car, and 01 pantry car.
