CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Independence Day is not just a celebration, but a symbol of our national identity, self-respect, and pride. This day reminds us of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and inspires us to follow the path they showed us.
Dr. Yadav was addressing a high-level review meeting regarding the preparations for the Independence Day 2025 celebrations. He directed that both state-level and district-level ceremonies should be organized with enthusiasm, dignity, and active public participation.
During the meeting, it was decided that the Chief Minister’s message to the people of the state will be broadcast live across all districts. Following this, chief guests at district-level programs will share information about key achievements, including flagship schemes, developmental activities, investment, agriculture, and irrigation projects.
The Chief Minister also thoroughly reviewed arrangements at the celebration venues, including seating, security, and traffic management. He instructed officials to ensure special facilities for democracy activists, differently-abled persons, senior citizens, and women.
Emphasizing the importance of instilling patriotism among the youth, he called for the organization of cultural programs and appealed to all citizens to actively participate in the celebrations.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, cabinet ministers, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, and other senior officials. All participants shared updates on preparations and proposed innovative suggestions in line with the dignity of the occasion.
