India will now face Pakistan in the gold medal match. The India-Pakistan final line-up was decided after the tournament’s semifinal matches.

Batting first, India scored 169 for 7 in 20 overs. Ishan Kishan produced a fine innings for the team, remaining unbeaten on 80. He faced 46 balls and hit 4 fours and 5 sixes. Vaibhav Suryavanshi also made an important contribution, scoring 38 runs to help India reach a strong total.

Chasing the target, the Sri Lankan team came under pressure against the Indian bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel and Abhishek Sharma made an impact with the ball. Sri Lanka’s batters kept losing wickets against the Indian attack. In Asian Games cricket, India and Pakistan were in separate semifinals.
