CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At NITTTR Bhopal, officials from the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology (iCreate) Ahmedabad, including CEO Avinash Punekar and Technology Advisor Ashish Kanojia, visited the institute and held a meeting with the institute’s director and faculty members. Guided by the vision of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, iCreate is dedicated to transforming technology-based startups into successful businesses.
During this visit, discussions took place on the establishment of a Center for Skill and Entrepreneurship, venture creation, incubation management, and the possibility of future joint programs. NITTTR Director C.C. Tripathi emphasized the need to change perceptions about startups. Startups are often considered risky and unstable, but they can be significant sources of innovation, employment, and economic growth. Through low-cost indigenous technologies, major work is being done to establish India as a global hub for Startup India, Make in India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sectors, especially in semiconductor and display manufacturing.
